You are standing in a large room. There are several tall windows on the far wall, each covered by heavy black velvet drapes. In the middle of the room is a large metal globe, and any area that is not land is criss-crossing metal pieces. There are large bookshelves on your right and left, filled with atlases and other books filled with world information.
Fantasy Fun RPG takes place on the planet Thyste. There are four countries in which it takes place: Hatra, Losha, Jyria and Fujija. Each has it's own climate, landscape, and native peoples. Here you can learn more about each of these countries. There are five main oceans/seas, as well: the Great Sea, Ocean of Ice, Southern Ocean, Hydra Sea and Listra West Ocean.
Hatra is the most northern country on Thyste. It is not quite on the polar cap, but the north is made up mostly of tundra. The far north of Hatra is permafrost, with very few plants. The country is cut down the middle by a huge mountain chain (The Grey Towers) which is home to the largest dragons, among other animals. The southern part of the country is dense rainforest (not tropical) which is home to many types of birds, mammals and reptiles, and is the breeding ground for the smallest dragons on Thyste. The west is dry plains, as is the east, home to deer and other prey animals and large cats and dogs.
Hatra is bordered on the north, east and west by the Ocean of Ice, which makes her climate very cold. The south is much warmer, as it is protected by the trees, and in The Grey Towers there is little wind, though it is very cold because of the high altitude. To the south is Fujija, and The Grey Towers stretch past the border of the two and deep into Fujija.
The main peoples who inhabit Hatra are dwarves who live in the mountain caves of The Grey Towers. They train the great dragons, and are world renowned for their skill. In the southern rainforest small bands of elves live high in the treetops, protected from enemies by the high elevation of the trees. On the plains of the east there are two large human towns: Phylla and Tugha. The west is uninhabited, or at least so by any large groups of people.
