You open one of the oldest books in the Library, and you are suddenly lifted from the floor and sucked into the photograph on the page in a burst of bright silver light. When you land, you find yourself in a cold, dark room. There is a fireplace in front of you, but it sits dirty and unused. The stone floor is uneven, and partially covered with old hay. A weathered wood stool sits next to the fireplace. Large open windows are on both your left and right. Heavy black drapes are blown around in the wind. A single candle sits on a small table to your right, but it has been blown out.
Fantasy Fun RPG is a role-playing game. It takes place through email, using Egroups. You must be a member to play with us. It is based loosly on many of the best fantasy books, such as Dragonlance and those by Terry Brooks.
The rules are fairly simple. You should be at least 13 years of age to play with use, because there may be some questionable content, such as language, and it may be hard for those younger to understand things. You can be a somewhat more normal character, though the term is a little misplaced in the fantasy world, such as a human, mage, magician, elf, dwarf, etc. or a more odd character, such as a dragon, unicorn or other animal. As for true rules, there are only a couple: You may not kill ANYONE. Only I will be able to decide and play out the death of anyone. Death will only be used if someone is not interested in playing anymore. If someone wishes to leave, they will tell me and I will help decide who may play out his or her death. One other rule: All characters must be from your own imagination. No one may copy a character from any books, television show or other source, though you may use them as a guide. One exception: if you are currently playing in another fantasy RPG, you may use that character to play here.
